Team WD-40's Joe Francis secured this years Monster Energy British Moto3 Championship yesterday afternoon at Silverstone. It was the first time this year that he hadn't finished on the podium, coming home in fifth. The 15-year-old has won three races on his way to the title.Speaking to bikesportnews.com, Joe said, "We couldn't have asked for a better year really. We've been consistent, finishing every race, and that's what has made us champions. I was with the leading group in this race, but I ran off the track so I didn't risk trying to catch up. I made sure everything was okay, let them go and brought the bike home safe."
Stauff are proud sponsors of Team WD-40 and would like to give a huge congratulations to Joe, his family and Team WD-40 for this great achievement. Bring on 2014!
